 There is an abundant of online stores popping up in Kuwait but only a handful stand out and The Yard has to be one of them. You can tell that the buyers have a great eye for detail. My favorite section has to be  the home ware section .

New boutique on the block: Les Petits Parisiens

 Hidden in the Mezanine of Salhiya Complex is an exquisite little boutique called Les Petits Parisiens.  As soon as I set foot in it I was mesmerized. The simplicity of it's design, calm colors and gorgeous set up makes it one of my favorite boutiques to date. Walking through the boutique I secretly wished that there were outfits my size.

Spotted at Baroue

I was walking past Baroue in the Avenues Mall the other day and all of a sudden I came to a halt! looked to my right and  I was going to start jumping from excitement when I spotted this.  The new Stokke stroller and, are you ready for this?? The oh so famous Orbit Stroller.

The new stokke stroller comes with some great changes. They also had the rider accessory which is perfect if you have a toddler and new baby. 

The Orbit stroller is something else. You have to see the video to understand what I mean. I think it's on every mothers wish list.

Ofcourse both strollers come with a hefty price tag but hey who cares!!

Tutu Crawlers

Oh my god!! how cute are those Tutu Crawlers from Gap. They  aren’t just regular leggings attached to the tutu—they have padded knees to make them just as comfy as they are cute for little crawlers. I think I'm going to buy one of each. I can just imagine my little Joli running around in these.

I wonder if they sell them here at Gap. Last time I checked the collection wasn't that great but their online store is to die for. My cart is so full I'm afraid to press the purchase button.

Kuwait my beloved country

I'm not one to talk about politics nor am I into politics to be honest with you but the way things are going in Kuwait right now is very depressing. I'm shocked about how naive people are and how proud they are for being so.

My heart is full of sadness. Take a stand and speak up!
 

Pregnancy must haves: Palmers Cocoa Butter

I was the first out of all my friends to have a baby so I'm like their mentor lol. When they ask me what is my number one pregnancy purchase I would always say: Cocoa Butter from Palmers. It is a miracle worker. I know they say genes play a big roll in the appearance of strech marks but I truly believe that this helps. It keeps your skin nice and soft and doesnt leave an oily resedue which I love.

It's party time

My son’s birthday is just around the corner and to tell you the truth I’m starting to panic. I decided that I wanted to do all the arrangements, planning, decorating and baking myself. Too ambitious do you think? To be honest I think I’m way over my head, but hey it’s a party for 6 year olds, how hard can it be? 

What I have so far? The party is going to be outdoors. Lots and lots of balloons. The theme? Well he wants a Jungle party. He is infatuated with animals so that should be easy.  I'm planning on creating a fruits and vegetable table since it's in the jungle there won't be any sweets around. That's going to be my excuse if any of the kids think the party is lame because there is no candy. LOL

Ok, I’ll let you in on a little secret. There might be a slight chance that I might call in some help. I’ll see how it goes but if I can predict trouble ahead I’m definitely going to call one of the party planning companies.

In Kuwait we have a few options to choose from. I’ve seen most of their work upfront and I believe they all have something special to bring to the table.

Spotted: Petunia Pickle Bottom

Finally someone decided to bring this adorable diaper bag brand to Kuwait. I spotted  Petunia Pickle Bottom diaper bags in Pottery Barn Kids at the Avenues Mall. I was so excited to see them because this was the first diaper bag I bought for my little angel and I still have it.
